This page explains how to delete data associated with any BlackFox Media LLC application. It covers:
- CellGuard (Android)
- WatchTower (Android)
- Bring It Down: USA (Android)
- Message Maverick (Android)
- Snitch (Windows)
Summary
BlackFox Media LLC does not operate any backend server for its applications. All user data is processed and stored on the user's own device. There is therefore no BlackFox Media LLC database from which to delete data — the user has full and direct control over all of it, and can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's local storage.
For data collected by third parties (Google Play, Google AdMob, and the public data sources WatchTower fetches camera locations from), see the per-third-party deletion procedures below.
What data each app stores locally
AppOn-device dataCellGuardThreat history, cellular anomaly logs, scan results, app preferencesWatchTowerCamera-location cache, user preferences (visible categories, alert radius), geofence registrations, location permission stateBring It Down: USAHigh scores, game state, settingsMessage MaverickConversation history, game state, settings; optional AI-Mode API key (in-memory only — discarded on app close)SnitchLocal audit findings, remediation history, app preferences
None of the above is transmitted to BlackFox Media LLC. No backend, no database, no analytics pipeline receives it.
How to delete data
Android apps (CellGuard, WatchTower, Bring It Down: USA, Message Maverick)
Choose either method — both delete everything:
Method 1 — Uninstall:
- Open Android Settings → Apps
- Find the app (CellGuard, WatchTower, Bring It Down: USA, or Message Maverick)
- Tap Uninstall
All on-device data is erased immediately.
Method 2 — Clear app storage (without uninstalling):
- Open Android Settings → Apps
- Find the app
- Tap Storage and cache → Clear storage
This deletes all data but leaves the app installed (you can re-onboard from scratch).
Windows app (Snitch)
- Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps
- Find Snitch
- Click Uninstall
The uninstaller removes all local audit data, configuration, and crash logs.
Alternatively, before uninstalling you can manually delete:
- %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snitch\ — application data and any crash logs
- Settings → Snitch → Reset (in-app) — wipes preferences and audit history
Retention
BlackFox Media LLC does not retain any user data on its own systems. There is no retention period because there is no retention. Once you delete the app locally, the data is gone.
Data held by third parties
While BlackFox Media LLC retains no user data, certain third parties may have collected data while you used the apps. Those deletion requests must be directed to them:
