Privacy Summary

GED Ready runs entirely on your device. There are no accounts and no login, BlackFox Media gathers no personal information, and the app contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking of any kind. Your study progress, statistics, flagged questions, and settings are stored locally and never leave your device. The app holds no internet permission, so it is technically incapable of transmitting anything.

About This App

GED Ready is a study tool covering all four GED subject tests - Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. It is a paid app with no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no locked content: every question, lesson, and reference sheet is available from the first launch.

It is an independent educational study aid. It is not official GED preparation material, not a substitute for an accredited course, and no score or credential outcome is promised or implied. Every practice question and lesson is original work written by BlackFox Media LLC against the published GED Testing Service Assessment Guide for Educators content targets, and each item carries a citation to the specification it was written against.

Information We Do Not Collect

- Accounts, names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses

- Location of any kind, precise or coarse

- Microphone, camera, contacts, or files

- Biometric information

- Advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / GAID, Apple IDFA)

- Study analytics or telemetry of any kind

BlackFox Media receives no reports, aggregate or otherwise, about your use of this app, because the app sends none.

Advertising

This app contains no advertising. It ships with no advertising SDK of any vendor, displays no ad of any format, and reserves no ad space in its layout. It does not read, request, or transmit an advertising identifier, and it does not declare the Android AD_ID permission.

Third-Party SDKs

The app contains no advertising, analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs.

Data & Storage

- Local data only: practice and simulator results, accuracy by topic, missed and flagged questions, lessons opened, and a mute-sound preference are stored on your device. You can erase all of it with "Reset all progress" on the in-app Stats screen.

- Permissions: the app requests no internet access and no device permissions - no camera, location, microphone, contacts, or storage. The only entry in its manifest is a signature-level permission that AndroidX generates for its own internal receiver; it grants no access to anything and never appears on the store listing.

- Network: none. The app cannot open a network connection. Every feature works with the device fully offline or in airplane mode.

- Servers: BlackFox Media LLC operates no backend for this app.

- Distribution: Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Purchases and Refunds

On Android, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play and is subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Refunds are governed by those terms and are issued solely by Google at its discretion; BlackFox Media LLC cannot issue them. On iOS, the equivalent applies to Apple and the App Store. BlackFox Media receives no payment card or billing information from either store.

Apple App Store Privacy (iOS)

(a) App Tracking Transparency (ATT): the app never presents an ATT prompt, because it performs no tracking and uses no IDFA.

(b) App Privacy "nutrition label": the App Store privacy label declares Data Not Collected.

(c) Privacy Manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy): the app includes a privacy manifest declaring no collected data types and no third-party SDK data collection.

Your Privacy Rights

BlackFox holds no personal data about you, so most data-protection rights are honored automatically. Users may uninstall the app or clear its storage to remove locally stored data. Residents of California, the EEA/UK/Switzerland, Canada, Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand have additional rights. To exercise rights with BlackFox, email support@blackfox-media.com (typical response: about 45 days).

Children's Privacy

GED Ready is intended for adult learners and high-school-equivalency candidates preparing for the GED test and is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). BlackFox does not knowingly collect information from children, and the app collects nothing from any user. BlackFox holds no user data to delete.

Data Security

Your device is the primary security boundary. The app relies on the platform permission and sandboxing model and stores its local data in the app's private area, inaccessible to other apps. On rooted or jailbroken devices, these guarantees may not hold.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or the law. Material changes are reflected in the Last Updated date and noted in the in-app About & Terms screen. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

This app is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the American Council on Education (ACE), GED Testing Service LLC, or by Pearson VUE. "GED" and "GED Testing Service" are registered trademarks of the American Council on Education, used under license by GED Testing Service LLC; all trademarks belong to their respective owners. No retired, licensed, or reproduced official test item appears anywhere in this app. "GED Ready" is also the name of the official practice test sold by GED Testing Service, which is a separate product from this app.

Governing Law

Governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; disputes brought exclusively in Texas courts except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
